Welcome to the Baylor Family! We are thrilled your student has decided to call Baylor home and that we will be able to get you plugged in where it impacts your student most. The Parent Engagement office runs your portal and is your only official on-campus liaison to Baylor parents.
You have A LOT to do before your new Bear settles in on campus. Check things off as they come.

April-Early May: The wave is about to hit!
- Join your parent portal HERE and personalize it for your needs. Make sure to bookmark it in your browser for easy access.

- Get to know your Parent Engagement team HERE.
- Register for Baylor Orientation and Line Camp HERE. Online reservations open Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 9:00AM CT.
- Make sure you've deposited PRIOR to May 1.
- Order you Baylor Family Shirt HERE.
- BE ON THE LOOKOUT: Freshman who will begin in the summer will hear from Advisors regarding advising appointments on April 25 and registration takes place May 2.
End of May: Say goodbye to high school and get ready to be a Baylor parent!
- Soak up every moment of your student’s high school graduation!
- Post your family photos with #BaylorParents and tag @baylorparents. You just may get reposted!
- Order you Baylor Family Shirt HERE. You’ll need this shirt later!
- Remind your student to submit their room selection during their ASSIGNED TIME.
- Research and secure micro-fridge and/or bed lofts through preferred vendors HERE.
- BE ON THE LOOKOUT: Freshman who will begin in the fall will hear from Advisors regarding advising appointments on May 23 and begin taking appointment on May 31.
June-Mid July: Attend Orientation
- Orientation Day 2- Important Parent session! Learn how to best help your new Baylor Bear. Meet and hear from Parent Engagement and University staff, who together, support your student’s success as well as support you. You will leave understanding the options available and the process of how your son or daughter must use them.
- Watch this video on time management with your student.
- We’re plugging it again! If you haven’t ordered your Baylor Family Shirt, do so HERE.
- Shop ‘till you drop for dorm supplies. Students may want to coordinate with roommates. Check out this list to see what your student needs to bring.
- Students must have their advising appointment set by Jun 15 and must be registered for classes by July 15.
Mid July-Early August: Attend your local Send-Off Party and celebrate being BAYLOR BOUND!
- This is the chance to meet your fellow BEARS, parents and students, right from your hometown before you get to Waco! You'll receive an email invite to your local Send-Off with all the details, but check out info and all the options HERE.
- Use what we taught your student at Orientation. Help your student master time management BEFORE THEY START CLASSES! *They don’t think they need it, but trust us, they do!
Mid-August: Move-In and Wear Your Baylor Family Shirt!
- Have your student tell you their Move-In time.
- Pack your Baylor Family Shirts and wear them to the picnic. *Chance to win some parent swag!
- Find us! We'd love to get pictures of you and your family to post on social media.
- Pray for an incredible freshman year!
