- Students who live on-campus choose from a diverse array of residential environments that support learning and faith development through relationally driven communities.
- Campus Living & Learning is where students and parents turn to apply for housing and learn more about housing options, which include:
- ● FIRST-YEAR COMMUNITIES Traditional residence halls which enable first-year students to live and meet other first year students from a variety of backgrounds and interests
- ● LIVING-LEARNING CENTERS Communities organized around specific academic programs or areas of interest.
- ● RESIDENTIAL COLLEGES Faculty-led communities that foster academic excellence and intensive faculty-student interaction
- ● UPPER-DIVISION COMMUNITIES Communities that offer upper-division students the amenities of an apartment with features and resources of on-campus living Baylor student life is enhanced by purposeful leadership within each residence hall, residential college and apartment, comprised of individuals working in tandem for the good of residents. These leaders include:
- ● Community leader (CL)
- ● Residence hall director
- ● Assistant Residence hall directors
- ● Graduate apprentice residence hall directors
- ● Resident chaplains
- ● Faculty in residence
IMPORTANT HOUSING INFORMATION
- If your student is planning to live on campus the following year, they can start the process at the end of October.
- o Campus Living & Learning will email your student their assigned day and time slot to “Choose Your Own Room” based on the number of credit hours your student has earned.
- o After choosing their room, students will be asked to agree to the Housing Contract, which secures their space on campus for the next academic year. This is a binding legal document and you will not be able to cancel at a later date.

- For students interested in living in one of the many apartments, condominiums or homes around campus, Baylor’s Off-Campus housing page provides important information about living off-campus.
We encourage you to talk through this process thoroughly with your student. Use this as a learning opportunity to challenge them to truly understand what they are signing up for and their responsibilities.
